All our cakes are packaged carefully for delivery or collection. They may be collected from our Leigh-on-Sea shop up to 3 days before your event or our free delivery service is available for wedding cakes within a 20 mile radius of Leigh-on-Sea. We can also deliver outside this area if you require, as an example to set up your cake in central London, the charge is £85 . If you want to find out more please tel us the postcode for delivery and we can advise on charges.
Creating a cake is all about the person or people it’s meant for, not fancy Nancy. We can create anything you want us to. The world is your lobster! We can design your wedding cake around any theme, with your ideas we can help you to bring these ideas to life on your cake design. Of course you can choose any designs from the website or portfolio as they are or we can tweak colours and details to personalise them for you or take elements from any designs you like.
No problem, you can have any flavour in any tier, you can have a chocolate layer or vanilla sponge or fruit cake. The choice is yours, unless you are choosing from our ‘off the peg’ cake range, Fancy Favourites
We are happy to help you source your flowers for from our recommended favourite florists or we are happy to liaise with your florist too.
We try to bake our fruitcakes in advance to improve the flavour but all our sponge cakes are baked the week of your wedding just for you.
All our cakes, cookies, cake pops and fancies are baked at Fancy Nancy to my own special recipes so that I know they will taste as fabulous as they look. Cake baking is never out sourced.
Appointments are available at Fancy Nancy, you can come in and talk through your requirements with me and try some cakes with a latte! Please call or email with your wedding date to arrange a consultation unless you want to go for one of our fancy favourites (cakes to order without consultation or delivery).
We can make your cake without nuts and omit the marzipan although we do process nuts on the premises so cannot guarantee that anything is entirely nut free. Of course, we will ensure to be very careful when preparing your cake. We do a great selection of gluten free cakes and vegan cakes too.
During peak wedding season and Christmas time its best to try to book as soon as you can as I limit the amount of cake orders to ensure our quality remains high. We will always do our best to accommodate last minute orders if possible and can recommend for last minute weddings, our Fancy Favourites may be a good option!
I’m afraid we can’t ice other cakes because we need all the bases to be a set depth and the surface should be straight and smooth to make sure that the finish is right.
