A 50% deposit is required to confirm your cake order. We are often booked 6 months to a year in advance. If you can’t schedule a consultation and tasting with us in the near future, but you are sure you want us to create your cake for you, you can book up by paying a Save-the-Date deposit of £200. This deposit is non-refundable. Details for your cake orders should be confirmed no later than 6 weeks before your wedding day. The final balance is due 2 weeks before the delivery or collection of the cake. We accept payment by cash, debit or credit card, cheque or BACS transfer.
You can make changes to the design or size of your cake up to 1 month before collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly. Please note the minimum charge for a wedding cake including free delivery is £200.
More than 28 Days
If you cancel your order for any reason up to twenty-eight (28) days before the date of your event, the deposit (£200) is non-refundable. This is because we become booked up very quickly and often turn orders away once our production diary is full. We are a small team and limit the number of cake orders that we can make each week to ensure our standards are kept at the highest they can be. All other monies paid will be refunded by business cheque within fourteen (14) business days.
Less than 28 Days
If your order is cancelled less than twenty-eight (28) days from the designated event date, you shall receive a refund of 25% of the total cost. Unfortunately if a cancellation is made less than fourteen days from the event we cannot offer any refunds. We strongly recommend that you purchase wedding insurance to cover yourselves for any eventuality that my arise which means you have to cancel your cake order.
